Terms and Conditions

All care is taken for delivery of your cake – however Smoosh Face Cakes is not liable for acts of God, extreme weather events, road closures, or unforeseen incidents. In the event of force majeure, Smoosh Face Cakes reserves the right to refer or sub-contract any order to a registered cake maker of our choosing.

Smoosh Face Cakes builds cakes to travel – instructions for transporting your cake are included. Smoosh Face Cakes cannot be held responsible for damage to the cake after delivery or pick up.

It is the customers responsibility to check the order upon collection and by taking the items you are acknowledging you are happy and have inspected. We pride ourselves on amazing flavours and quality, we check and test ALL cakes and other foods regularly throughout the process, if you feel that you are not happy with your order it will need to be returned and only a small amount eaten (tested) so that we can fully inspect. If you have eaten and not just tested, no refund will be given.

REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS
A 50% deposit is required to confirm your order. This is non-refundable. If you cancel within 7 days, there will be no refund as planning and prep for your order will have most likely started. If you cancel prior to this, you will be entitled to a 50% refund as fees have already been deducted for accepting your payment and we may have turned down other orders to secure your space and spent time processing this order. If you or someone gets sick, this is obviously out of your control, and we will happily hold a credit for you and change your order date.

Smoosh Face Cakes reserves the right to take photos of their work and use them for advertising purposes. This includes photos taken on site at venues. The photo may be used in advertising and on social media but only after the event has taken place.
